SPT:
challenge :trick or treat
challenge :trick or treat
so, I don't really like to get dressed up. It surprises many people. I have had friends tell me my personality seems like the type who would, but I really don't and am often embarrassed for those who do. (kind of like Jill at Plays or musicals)
But I did make this cute hat for my daughters teacher and try it on. We decorated the classroom with ghosts on all the chairs and made this cute hat for the teacher, left her a Halloween t-shirt and some flowers with a not that says.
for our little Goblins!

What a great idea and I love the hat!
That hat will make ALL the other witches very jealous! It's what all the posh witches are wearing this season. It might even make their faces green with envy, although they may already be that color to start with.
Love the hat and that you decorated the classroom in such a fun way.
oh fun! i just glue gunned cassie's hat this morning with the remainder of ellie's kitty tail.
(hmmm, sound strange? you will have to just pop over tomorrow to see pics!)
happy halloween!
Great picture and great hat Kristi! I didn't think to do anything for my kids' teachers, and am scrambling to put together some little goody bags for the kids to give the kids in their classes. They already left for school, so I'm going to have to take them this afternoon when I go to help in Whitney's class party. I'm bummed I don't have a costume (I never do) because I would like to be a fun mom that way.
HA! I completely embarrassed my brother with my self portrait challenge this week, so I guess he has the same embarrassed-for-those-who-do-dress-up triat that you have.
The crafted Witches hat is a very creative teachers gift.
Happy Halloween! I hope tht you're off having a fun day!
You are such a great parent! I taught for five years and doing those little things for teachers totaly makes our days. :) I had amazing parents when I taught, and I wish each classroom had a parents like you for each child.
Happy Halloween!
Love the hat!! I love what you did for the teacher. How do you do these things for the teacher without her knowing?
Love the hat and the idea for the teacher!
I dont like dressing up either, but the few times I have, I always surprise myself and have fun!
That is so darling. I taught special ed for three years. I would have LOVED something like that. Mostly, I was given homemade treats that promptly were disposed of. And I don't mean that I ate them. Where do you draw the line between ungrateful and eeewww?!?!?!?
That hat is really cute. I didn't get anything out for the teachers either. I have been slacking now that I have 4 teachers to worry about! Hope you have a great night.
I love the hat! It's absolutely adorable. I also love your Blog. You have so many wonderful ideas. Thank you, Thank you!
Very cool!
I love your last post about the Nike ad!
I haven't seen it yet, but because of your post, have had those thoughts running through my head all day! Very powerful and so true! Thanks :)
Happy Happy Halloween!!! Cute Hat :o)
Oh it's *THOSE colours*!! The Pink Christmas colours! Was that intentional or serendipity?
I don't think I'll ever see that pink and lime green combo ever again without thinking of you and PC.
