give me a high 5!

go ahead hit the screen, give me a high 5! seriously do it!

I have so much blogging to catch up on and my head is racing with things to say and write - this is me this morning after a 5 mile run,(for you new or old runners out there take photos of you after each run with how many fingers you ran, it is fun when you run out of fingers and toes to document your mileage!) which only encourages my thinking, so as soon as my house gets cleaned and I shower I am hitting the keyboard. Yesterday was such a long day I fell asleep on the couch at 7:30. Thank goodness for daylight savings!

and did you hit the screen when no one was looking???

I hesitated for a minute then hit the screen. How could I resist. Can't wait for your catch up.

My kids are SICK, I got about 3 hours of sleep last night (not all together) but you have motivated me to go running tonight anyway!!

I found your blog through a friend of a friend of your friend (does that even make sense?)

I have been SO inspired through reading about your marathon and training. I can't run more than 3-4 minutes in a row and wondered how much of the marathon (if any) you walked. I'm slowly trying to talk myself into doing this.

Would love your feedback!

You bet I hit the screen.

I don't dare touch the screen, it's LCD and Mark's and I'm afraid he'd kill me if something happened to it. Anyway, I'm toying with the idea of running...or walking faster.

I pciked up the Non-Runners Guide to a Marathon and started my preliminary training! I walked/jogged 3 miles on Saturday and got up at 5:50 am, gloves and beanie and all, and jogged/walked 3 miles in the dark! Once again! Thanks for inspiring me, a non athlete, to get off the couch and go! Oh, and I have felt spectacular all day...except the aching chins!

I've given you a very big 'mental' high five, as it's nearly midnight here and I've been sewing all evening - so my eyes are shot - and I've got a sore throat. Bleugh...

Is that a pink Ralph Lauren horse on your head?? *slaps own head*

YES! Thanks for the high five. And a belated congratulations on your achievement-- running a marathon WOW!

amanda, why yes it is a pink little horse, this hat was my thrift store find for like $.75 cents - not bad and it keeps my head warm. the lining is pink and i love it.

I didn't hit the screen, but I did run 3.2 miles today. That is the longest I have ever done. Tomorrow is 4, wish me luck!

Kristi, the lining of your HEAD is pink, never mind the lining of the hat. Hahaha!

Kristi, I don't think it is possible for you to get any cuter...

I should have done this for my 10K! You look great, and I'm impressed you are keeping up with the running, not everyone does after accomplishing a goal, they just check it off and then drop it. Not you!
