I couldn't resist.

I just could not resist this photo shop opportunity. Today I ran 6 miles with the double jogger in the drizzling, sleet like rain. I could see my breath the whole time I was running. The girls were perfect and never made a peep. I think it was because their lips were blue and they couldn't move them. Needless to say, I came home and ordered a rain guard for my red sleigh.
It was just too beautiful to go inside the gym. The colors here are incredible and it seemed so quiet on the streets, even with my Disney Mom music playing.
I have been working on one of my last marathon posts for a week now and must get it done. I told myself I would only talk about running for about a month after and then go back to writing in my running log. I got a fun email today to be invited to be a contributor on a Marathon Mommy blog, so I can get all my running writing fill there. That email and the 6 mile run made my day.

You have been a blessing to those that read about your marathon, and your daily runs.
We just got a treadmill, and I finally got on it yesterday and did my first mile. May not seem like much but its a start!
Thanks for sharing you achievements!

You're so funny. Way to be out there in the sleet and chill, you look like a fashionable marathon mom in your cute, Pink gear.

You are a machine! Is that how long you are running on your everyday run? You ROCK!

Love the pink!

Is this what running a marathon does to a girl...an extra growth-like finger? Ewww. I am a bad-weather-running-pansy, so you're giving me inspiration to brave the cold in, oh, about 3 days. Sigh. I love reading your running posts!

The extra blogging work sounds just up your street, and it's amazing to see the ways in which the simple blogging of a stay-at-home-mum can branch off into exciting avenues like this. Street, avenues...??

Just make sure you put some kind of good barrier cream on your face when your running in the elements like that!

I am lauging out loud at your 6 fingered mitten hand! Too funny!
I think that now that you have tasted the sweetness of exercise and running that it is now in your blood. I need this in my blood! Perhaps I need to try first! HA!

Wow! I was going to go for a run yesterday morning, but the rain and cold stopped me. I guess if I am really serious about next year, I will have to toughen up!

I can't believe you push your girls that far! I am obviously a wimp! I'm totally pumped if I push my kids 3 miles! It is so hard. You must have biceps of steel! You're my hero. :)

I want you to know...you don not know me, but you have inspired me! I just started running this last week after reading your entries about the marathon you did. I have a secret desire to maybe attmpt the same insanity!

The running with the double stroller has got me whipped though. Everytime I want to whine and stop, I remember that you started not being able to run far either, but didn't give up. That keeps me going!
