Getting Gum

Someone had said they were looking for gum to make the gum ball jars for end of the year gifts and having trouble finding them. So here are a few links that I hope will help you.

Samsclub online you can order them directly and even order just one color.
Also if you don't want to pay shipping you can do Sam's special order system where you fill out an order at the membership desk and then they will deliver to your store - this may take 14-21 days so think ahead.
The box in the store with 850 gumballs (i just bought mine today) was $17.00 the one online has 1000 gumballs and with shipping is $23.00 and they have darling colors. So I think this is a pretty good deal.

Also look up in your area for a candy vendor. Just start in the phone book. There was one in Nashville and I just found the one in the D.C. area that supplies all the candy for all the 7'11 in the area. I am in heaven. They are always really cheap and you won't have to pay for shipping.

This gal is selling them for only $4.95 each so if you don't want to make them, this is a GREAT deal! serious great deal.

For those of you in Utah here is a place that is in Salt Lake City that you can buy by the color. This is fun to do in your school colors, great for a graduation gift with some cash attached. How cute are these pink for a baby shower!

Oh my...you just solved something I have been mulling over all week. I needed PINK candy for a favor I am making for the American Caner Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Committee I am working on. The gumballs are perfect! I even have the perfect containers for them!!!
And you thought we were all talking about Teacher Appreciation! Ha Thanks!

They even have sugar free and baseball gumballs. What a COOL idea! I love these and it's a fun excuse to buy that ribbon you can't live without!

I made some jars this weekend for my daughter's dance teachers, and found packages of (smaller) gumballs at the CVS drugstore for 99 cents each. If you use the "extra care bucks" you get from other purchases there, you can get your gumballs for free!
