I spent my entire day trying to get tickets to the White House Easter Egg roll! I had them in my cart about 5 times and then the system crashed. I would rather have camped out overnight on Pennsylvania Avenue for 24 hours. My fingers seriously have blisters from hitting refresh all day!

So now I will debate if I am going to spend a ton of money from some scalper who will be selling them on Craigslist so my kids can go to the kids event! A set of 4 already sold for $500. I am so glad that this event is keeping in tradition for every walk of life to be able to come for free - HA! I guess the rich paying for free tickets will stimulate the economy!

grrrr!!!

yes! which means that in 2 weeks they will probably be going for $1000!

last year my friend was looking for tickets that were being scalped for $500 each!

That is crazy.

I tried so many times today too...and was so excited when I thought I had them.

I hate that they are selling for so much money now. Seems wrong.

For me the whole waiting-in-line experience was part of the Easter Egg Roll experience!

Don't do it. It was nice, but so not worth $500. There are so many people there that you almost can't do anything. You just stand in line all day to do one thing. Seeing the Jonas brother's was nice, though. They are handing out some tickets especially for military families, see if you can get your hands on some of those!

so sorry you didn't get the "free" ones- why do they put stuff like that on the computer when they know it will crash the system??

hope you can get some of the military tickets...

I can't believe that the White House does not have a better system than that! I am thinking 500$ not worth it..although, i've never been I would be wrong:)

I know. I'm totally annoyed! I agree about staying out on the Ellipse. And commenting on your shoe blog, I did notice your shoes while you were standing at the front today and I thought they were very cute! Maybe a little bit of you is rubbing off on me. I never notice new shoes!
