Weathered Wishes

Before everyone writes the government for throwing money away - I must explain. The money and coins we found at the bottom of the reflecting pool are completely weathered, ruined and covered in duck poop! Most of the coins you can not even recognize what they are, a penny, dime or nickel. Many of them have been sitting at the bottom of this poo poo pit for years.
This is a photo of an old Metro Coin (I assume it is old as they don't use coins anymore on the metro) that Caroline found. The other side barely reads metro on it.
So trust me if the money could be reused I am sure it would have been put to good use toward a surplus or something but all the money we found is completely ruined in a legal money sense, but a complete treasure for a gal like me who loves to dig through doo doo to find a treasure.

What a fun post for a memory! I am sure that your littles will love remembering running through that reflective pond finding people's wishes!
Love that you document *and DO!* such amazing things!
