Thank you Mr. Brown
Not that Mr. Brown this one! I don't think there is ever a bad time to live in D.C. but it feels like we have picked the best 4 years to live here. There seems to have been some exciting stuff going on around here and it is only getting better. Thanks to the guy in the above photo I am in love with this place right now.
Last week I picked up this book for Jeff the day it came out. During the day I decided to read the forward to see if I could ever get into this book. 5 chapters later I realized I had to get the kids from school. I have not read his other books but am now hooked!
We had to buy another copy because we could not take turns. So now every night Jeff and I snuggle up in our white, bleached sheets hanging out with Mr. Brown and his brilliance.
If you are reading this book or plan to,
check out this website to visit all the spots in the book. We will for sure be doing a Lost Symbol tour before we go.
Anyone reading this book?
Finished it yet?

Kristi - I am reading it as well. My copy just came in the mail and have not been able to put it down. I will give you my thoughts when I am finished but so far its keeping me interested for more.
Going to the National Book Festival this weekend? We are!! I will keep my eyes peeled for you all over DC. Pink Kristi is totally famous in my little world!
Just bought it Saturday but was thinking I would start it next week. Maybe I'll start tonight thanks to your review!
I finished the book today. Loved it, it was so interesting to learn about Washington and about the Masons. enjoy. I did!!!
It must be way more fun reading that when you are familiar with all those places and can go hunting for them on your next outing.
Herb just bought the book -- you will have to compare notes!!
I'm not reading it. I did not really like his other book. But I am all for anything that gets people excited about reading!
p.s. Still waiting to hear about your visit to Paris.... no pressure, though!
I heard him interviewed on NPR and I've been anxious to pick up a copy... GLAD to know it's an addictive and good read!
Have you guys given up on your clever blog? I miss your creative conversations!!!!!
Finished it the other day. Good book. You need to read his other ones too. Now that you are getting to know Robert Langdon, you'll enjoy the others. I think Angels and Demons was my favorite, followed by DiVinci Code and then this one. All great though.
I grabbed it in the check out line at TarJay the other day and started reading it tonight. I haven't read his other books, but couldn't pass this one up since it involves D.C.
I just started this book and I AM DYING TO GO BACK FOR ANOTHER VISIT!!!!
