Sally Jane got her first hair cut from a professional. Her personal bang cut has now turned into a nice, hip long layer in front. It stinks when your 4 year old has way better hair than you do!

Life is always good when Dad is home from work in time to pick up the kids from school and gets to walk home with them

and I could use some serious help convincing my husband we should buy this vintage china cabinet that is only $400!!! Our local furniture consignment shop has like 4 pieces of furniture that are calling my name. And the other day when I was in there and the owner asked me when I was due (yes yet again I must look pregnant!) and I gave him the look of "are you kidding me?" He felt so bad he told me he would give me a deal. If I didn't feel the urge to run to my car and cry my guts out I probably could have saved a few 100 dollars.

20
and I really can't beleive that in about 20 weeks we will be moving!!???

My 4-year-old has better hair than I do, too. sigh. I've noticed in your recent posts that her bang chop has grown out nicely!

That china cabinet is to die for. So much potential there!

Sorry about the pregnant question. I seriously brace myself for that all. the. time. But I guess it's less likely to happen when you're just all-around big!!

Love that you thought to take a photo of your little's haircut! She is darling!!!

My take on the furniture deal is buy it! $400?!! Honestly - you will regret it! You don't want it, you NEED it! That is a huge difference! HA! On kidding aside - I walked away from a favorite piece of furniture and came back 2 days later and bought it. EVERYONE always comments on it as it is the most unique piece I have. Steal for $200 and I will have it forever.
Do it.
Do it.
Do it!
:-)

Love the furniture. $400??? Great deal. You will regret it once you move if you don't do it.

Go back in there and get that china cabinet!!! And get that reduced rate to while you are at it! Even if you still paid $400 that is a total steal!!

Whitney has way better hair than I do!

That china hutch is a steal at $400, surely you can convince Jeff you need it.

I'm sorry about the prego question, I live in fear of that myself.

$400 is a deal, but don't buy anything until after you move. When you are packing you will realize you have WAY more stuff then you imagined. You don't want to haul large pieces of recently acquired items across the country only to find that they do not really work in your new space.

As for your pregnancy... :)
People are just stupid.
You are an awesome marathon running mom, don't let stupid people make you sad.

I agree, buy it! What a deal...and work that discount. I think you will look forward to the move anticipating finding a place to put that gorgeous piece of furniture. And, cabinets like that are so purposeful!

Are you kidding?! Having a clueless male mistake your muffin top for a pregnancy is TOTALLY worth a few hundred dollars!!!!!

Everyone's got a muffin top, my friend. I'm just glad to hear someone be down about it, besides mySELF. Thanks for helping me feel normal :)

Beautiful hair on a beautiful girl! I still can't get over how blond it is.

What a great cabinet, and it is so big. Would you want to paint it or refinish it differently? You have such a good imagination. What's the brand? I say get it!

I have to agree with Chanel though, that it is discouraging when your furniture doesn't fit the space in your home, unless someone is paying for your move, every pound counts. I'll never forget the boxes of a rock collection I let a couple of the boys bring from Las Cruces, and they were thrown our in 3 months. I do like the cabinet though.

Sally Jane is growing up so fast. She's so dang cute! For sure get the furniture and then punch the guy at the store. You'd think by now people would keep their mouths shut :) You are AWESOME!

I just love your blog-brings back great memories of when my husband was a resident at Walter Reed. And I love the great ideas I glean from your posts. My family benefits from the things I've picked up from you--thanks! About the pregnant comment-I look more pregnant now than I did most of the time when I actually WAS pregnant, but I never get asked if I'm pregnant. I DID, however, get asked if I was pregnant once upon a time when I weighed 105 pounds. So I figure it has nothing to do with weight and everything to do with the glow about you that makes people think you're pregnant--take it as a compliment!
