My Walks.
This morning is the first day of spring break. since we already took jeff's vacation for the wedding we are sporting it at home. it is going to be a long week. at 7:30 annie kate was wanting to go the neighbors to play. we went for our walk at 8:00 in 45 degrees. it was so windy. the only way i could get annie kate to go was to let her wear my ipod and listen to highschool musical. (my favorite movie)
so i decided to start talking photos of what i remember about the different walks i take in my neighborhood. with spring there are so many awesome colors. the above photo is our community in our development. Bentley Park.
I love when the tulips come up. and i love it when they die. because the gardners throw the bulbs away, so i always dig them up the day before and replant them in my yard. you should have seen me a few years ago. I probably had 100 bulbs i was digging with Caroline 8 months old in my arms screaming. i will do anything for free... well not anything, but close.
If you have a chance get out and take a walk!
click here to see photos of my walks. more photos to come.

What a pretty picture! It seems crazy that your world can look so different from ours. I can't wait for some color around here!

It looks so green there, and we still dip to 28 degrees at night. We are going to put in a pondless waterfall this spring to have something to look forward to until it greens up here in NM.

I love the idea of taking pictures each day during a walk. I have a link on my blog to a photographer that does that and her photos are amazing. I've also been planning to do that when it gets warmer outside, and have been trying to figure out how to get a digital camera so I can post the results daily. You beat me to it. I look forward to your photos and love looking at your photo galleries daily.

Great idea! What a pretty picture. Although I love where I live, I really am lamenting the fact that we all moved in between summer and winter. There's no landscaping except for some really ugly lookng lawns. Yesterday when it was so nice I went outside a raked my lawn just so I could have a little color in my yard.

Loved seeing the pictures from your walk. Brings back pleasant memories of walks I have taken at your house and in your wonderful neighborhood. I love the tulips --the colors are beautiful!!

I love tulips!! Such a pretty picture, and you are a trooper for walking in such cold weather! I love my walks (esp. in spring), but I am such a woose that as soon December temps dipped into the mid 60's I put my double jogger in the garage and pulled out the treadmill. We haven't been on a walk since! Today it is about 78, so I have no excuse! Thanks for the encouragement and the great idea to take pics!!
