flip flops.
What a surprise to find these cute flip flops on my door when I came home from the doctor this morning. (which by the way Sally Jane's iron levels are back to normal, ahhh!)
They are from one of my friends who is also a mom of one of my laurels. It was thanking me for helping with the senior quilts. You know i am loving these. Thank you Kari S!
these flip flops would make great teacher gifts. They are great because they are monogrammed. But you could do a few things instead of monogram them. Just use cute polka dot fabric. Or you could do an iron monogram on a piece of fabric.
How to make them
Buy the silver button covers (any fabric store) Cover it with a monogrammed fabric or printed fabric. Wrap the thong part with ribbon.
here are a few ideas to make your own.

Happy crafting! And if you want to order a pair from the place my friend got hers here is her email address.

Very cute flip flops! I had no idea they could be personalized too--you and your friends are the monogramming queens.

This is so funny. I was planning on posting about the flip flops I am in the process of making for my girls' teachers. I have made a few pair before for gifts. I just buy cheap flip flops(Old Navy has them 2 for $5) and then I either cut strips of cute fabric or cute ribbon and tie in them in knots on the flip flops. I'll post my completed ones when I'm done. Hopefully I finish them before schools out!

Okay I guess we all have flip flops on the brain because I posted my gift (angie's idea) before even looking at your blog. Too funny!
