I seriously got chills seeing this Mardi Gras door! How many of these decked-out doors have I seen at this time of year in my beloved New Orleans?! Forget Valentines day down there, ya'all - it's Christmas and then straight on to Mardi Gras! It's about time for me to lug my big old box of beads out and start decorating.
Man, I miss that place.

Our family is really excited to experience a new holiday!
(Seriously, it seems that Mardi Gras IS the only holiday -- no Valentine's Day here...
