Everything is Green at Everything Pink

Yet another year that we did not catch the leprechaun! I can't believe it.

That sneaky little guy left some cute green purses for the girls along with green press on fingernails.

The local parade got cancelled and the flea market were cancelled, due to inclament weather. There is a large war protest downtown with rumors of destroying the Vietnam War Memorial, so we will not be going downtown today. I did make a Goodwill trip to find my new good mail project... oh I am so excited my head is spinning! We delivered our Leprechaun Kisses and I loved how they turned out and how easy they were to hang on our friends mailboxes. I made a big loop witht he rainbow ribbon to hang on everyone's flag.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

now off to lunch and our festivities of the day!
This was kind of funny I had put green food coloring all down our steps in the snow last night to show a leprechaun trail and AK was worried he had been bleeding...

How fun is that! Thank you so much for the cute limerick you left on my blog! I have no rhyming skills, so I'm super impressed by that. I'm so sad that you won't be going to any sites today, I love hearing where you've been. I hope you have a fun St. Patrick's day anyway!

Hi Kristi, thanks for my blog St Patrick's ditty!

I love the girls' wearing o' the green! Looks like they've had a great day.

Isla turned ONE today! A St Patrick's Day baby. I'm so blessed I had a St.P baby - my parents are Irish, I love my heritage, that's why I named my daughter Erin (it's the old Gaelic name for Ireland) and then I had my baby on St Pat's Day! Woo-hoo!!

Beannachtai na Feile Padraig!

You are just the cutest Mom. Your kids are always going to look back with such fond memories of growing up. The fun thing is that I am sure they will continue these traditions with their own families. You are a great example of making the most of the time you have them in your home. When I am a mom I hope to be able to do many of these fun things too. You are a great example...and lucky for me I can feast off your ideas!!!

That is a lot of green sprinkles on that doughnut! I would have opted for the Panera lunch as well. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Love that place. I also have to say that I laughed out loud about poor AK thinking the leprechaun was bleeding. What a sweet and concerned little girl.
