Big SKY!
The sky also seems rounded instead of just flat across. That sounds so weird but the only way I can seem to describe it.
2 weeks ago we hung out in our front yard just taking photos in the 80 degree weather after church. This was the girls seriously jumping for joy.
For the past week I have started to feel the moving sting start to wear away. I am feeling more adjusted and wonder who that girl was that moved into the house (the one that rocked in the corner and cried every day) that had my same name. We have now been here 5 months and I almost feel like I am living in my house and not just visiting the family we bought it from.
After the kids got home from school the clouds started to come in and the most beautiful sunset appeared. We all were in a room with big windows in different parts of the house and I heard everyone say, "look outside!" Oh my it was beautiful. Jeff was driving home from work and said, "have you looked outside" He drives home everyday from work looking at his new mountains and it is just a beautiful view!!
This Colorado sky is just amazing!
Have you ever seen a rounded sky?
Have you been to Colorado?
When are you coming to visit me?

I love Colorado, too, but haven't been there in years!
I would move back to Colorado in a heartbeat.
I don't think there is anything I don't like about Colorado.
I wish I could have connected with you when we were visiting this summer!
We lived in Colorado for one summer and the sunset was one of my favorite memories! The sky is truly beautiful there! I will definitely look you up if I ever head back to CO!!
We are coming to visit you in a month!!! We are so excited to see you all in your new place, all of the things that you are learning to love so. So glad that you are feeling that Colorado is home, that you love your home, that all seem to be adjusting so well.
What a great photo! Perhaps it is Christmas card worthy! Haven't been to CO but plan on sometime this summer to see our family that live there - somewhere by you...
Congrats on your calling - it is nice to be 'thrown' into a calling like that because you are forced to meet people and figure out names with faces quickly. I know. I'm lumped in that same calling..
I lived in Littleton my high school years! I loved it and would move back in a second! It is beautiful!

I'm so thrilled that you are starting to feel at home and that the sting is wearing off. Thrilled!

I totally agree, the sky is just bigger in Colorado! I couldn't believe it when we were there with you in August (really 3 months ago already?) but the sun felt like it was right down on us and the vast blueness of the sky was breathtaking.
